  • Full cycle implementation: prepare and drive workshops, design processes, write BBP, test as a first line, coordinate UAT, create end-user documentation.
  • Achieved alignment on new posting schemes (incl. GL, CC, PC, VAT) for core business flows.
  • Led FICO-MM/SD integration from design to hyper-care: P2P, O2C, rebates, promotions, inventory, master data, taxes (VAT, Excise duties, Intrastat).
  • Implemented the biggest interface on a SAP project (millions of IDOCs flowing daily).

Create a new concept of supermarket within Delhaize but in a separate legal entity with 10 stores.

Achievements:

  • Supported the growth of Red Market, a new low-cost store concept, from 1 to 10 points of sale.
  • Coordinated the transfer of recurring accounting tasks to other departments (AP, AR, Payroll, Inventory, Asset).
  • Managed the legal and financial integration of a new legal entity within Delhaize.
  • Participated in the long-term viability evaluation of the new store concept.

Create a European hub in Brussels for an Indian airline operating between India and the US with 6 flights a day and 100 flying staff to be accommodated.

Achievements:

  • Set up the financial department in Brussels in coordination with HQ in Bombay.
  • Managed treasury under pressure during the 2008 crisis.
  • Dealt with offshore colleagues in Bombay.
